This month, we are honored to welcome JD Jackson to share about the impactful work of SEEED.
SEEED is the only organization in Knoxville that combines workforce development, hands-on experience, and community engagement specifically for young adults who have aged out of youth programs.
They are also the only 501(c)(3) locally constructing brand-new, energy-efficient homes featuring rooftop solar panels, battery storage, and smart-grid technology, built and sold below market value.
Their mission is to provide pathways out of poverty through career readiness training, home ownership, access to vital resources, and food security.
If you are passionate about sustainable development, economic mobility, and strengthening East Knoxville from the ground up, this will be an important conversation to attend.
